Any front load washing machine deals? in: Request a Deal

I need a new washing machine. Many friends have the front load washers and say it is worth the extra money. Aside from usual 10-15% off Sears deals, I don't see many Fatwallent quality deals. Are there any?

you excluded the Sears, but both bb and lowes have moving deals, you get the coupons at the post office. I would personally look at costco, with the bulletproof warrantee.

We just bought this Whirlpool Duet Sport 3.7 CuFt Washer and this 6.7 CuFt Whirlpool Duet Sport Dryer. The in store price is cheaper than online. We paid $680 + $720 or $1400 after instant rebate.

As far as I can tell, these are (almost?) the same washing machine sold by Sears that are 3.7 cu foot under their own model # here for $705. The Sears Dryer costs $697. The Sears warranty isn't 2 years, and doesn't have the costco return policy. The reviews are somewhat mixed on the Sears site with maybe 75% "I love it" 5 stars and 25% "I hate it" with 1 or 2 stars so having the ability to return it is important to me.

I have bought 2 Whirlpool Duet washers in the past year...after local waterwise rebates each one cost me about $175 ea. These are the 'CLEARANCE' appliances at Sears and Lowe's. AT Sears it was $899-50% off clearance or 'returned' minus 10% with Sears Card - 2 x $100 local waterwise rebates. I got another one at Lowes like new but with doghair in it.....$445 - $100 off coupon - 2x 100 local rebates.
