Hello What are the things I should consider while buying a digital picture frame - I am thinking of 7-10 inch. I am not considering wireless / speakers. I want something which does a job of picture frame, should look good & slick. Any brands to consider or avoid? How long the battery last or do I have to have an ugly power cord hanging? Thanks in advance. |

Not something I've paid much attention to, but went shopping with a friend of mine for a digital picture frame for her daughter. I have to say I was amazed that the one we were looking at plays videos and music, has a remote control, and one model even had a touch screen to select options. She ended up getting the Pandigital on sale at Sears for $49.99. |

RESOLUTION!!! Most cheap frames are 320x240 pixels. This is ok for small frames. Anything 7+ you want at least 640x480 or even 800x600. Besides that, probably no need for built-in memory, however card reader. Also, if it can detect orientation you won't have to manually rotate each pic. |
