I'm thinking to buy a mowers for my lawn. But there has two types of mowers on the market: electronic mowers (with cord) and gasoline mowers. Which one is better? Waiting your suggestions, thanks...

How big is your yard? I would vote gas

Electric mowers have a limitation of only about 2hp of output, while gas powered usually doesn't even start till 4hp and goes up from there. That means you get a lot more power with a gas model, which helps a lot for longer growth grass, especially semi wild growth when it gets wet, you can still mulch that down pretty well with a 6.5hp motor. An electric model wouldn't stand a chance at doing the same.

Electric are easy to store just hang it on a wall. Always start. Gas has more freedom but with that more expenses.

I vote none of the above. Get a reel mower, and you provide all the power it needs. Not recommended for a big yard, though.
Try electric with no cord. It works great for 1/3 acre and below. No gas and no oil is a great plus. HP is a concern if you are frequently in wild growth (+4 inches) or wet grass.
Go with gas. The gas mowers cost less and really aren't that much trouble if you take some basic care of them. The electric mowers are for tiny yards and they have very little power. Plus you always have to avoid running over the power cord.

Again it depends on the yard. I had one electric mower last about 20 years with basically no maintenance. Only reason I got rid of it was because it had rusted so much that the wheels fell off and after a while the hole was so big, it couldn't be fixed with a bigger nut/washer. On the other hand, I've bought several gas mowers, didn't do much maintenance and they failed after a couple years. Granted they were used though. These were for different properties. Also with the electric, even if you don't mow for weeks, mine was still strong enough to cut tall grass. If it was too tall, the motor would stall out after a bit, but then you moved the mower back and attack it again and go slowly and it finished the job. A decent electric mower might cost a little bit more than a cheap gas mower, but I'm going to guess it'll probably last longer. The smell and the noise probably isn't as bad with electric vs. gas.
