Herbal essences has a new promo out: buy (2) shampoo or conditioner OR 1 hair color, get a free reward certificate for a manicure or pedicure. Limit 2 certificates per person/household.

You must go here to register your UPC Code go here

Look for specially marked bottles of Herbal Essence
When you go to the website to register your UPC, take a close look at the shampoo and conditioner, you'll note the special label regarding the manicure/pedicure deal.

Here is the rest of the terms of the offer

Purchase two (2) bottles of specially marked participating Herbal Essence Shampoo and/or Conditioner product and receive one (1) free beauty treatment (manicure or pedicure only) from a participating beauty salon. To receive your Reward Voucher, after qualifying purchases have been made, visit this website and print redemption form. Then mail your completed redemption form along with original receipts of the Herbal Essence participating qualifying products (no copies accepted) to the listed address. All items must be postmarked by 12/31/08. Once your information is received and verified by the redemption center (please allow up to 1 week for verification) you should receive your beauty treatment voucher by mail within about 4 – 6 weeks. A list of participating locations will be provided on the Rewards Website which will be listed on your Reward Voucher. Offer valid until participating Herbal Essences Shampoo and Conditioner products last Open to legal residents of the 50 U.S. or D.C. 18 or older only. Limit two (2) Reward Vouchers per customer or household. This offer is subject to availability. This offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotional offer. FAQ

What Shampoo/Conditioner collections are participating?
The collections that are participating are specially marked bottles of Hello Hydration, Body Envy, Long Term Relationship, Color Me Happy and Totally Twisted. Specially marked bottles will have a green sticker on the front featuring the free manicure or pedicure offer as indicated in the bottles to the right.

Where do I find my UPC codes (for Shampoo/Conditioner products only)?
The UPC codes can be found on the back of the bottle on the lower left hand side of the label. Click here to view where the UPC code is found.

Where do I find my LOT code (for Color products only)?
The Lot code can be found on the bottom of the box towards the front edge. Click here to view where the LOT code is found.

Where can I redeem my voucher?
Once your redemption form, original receipts, and original Proof of Purchase UPC codes or LOT codes have been received and processed by TLC, you will be mailed a voucher which will include a website that will have a list of venues. Venue locations will not be provided prior to you receiving your voucher in the mail due to agreements made between TLC and participating venues.

How long will it take for my Request Form to be processed, and for me to receive my Reward Voucher?
You should receive your voucher within 4-6 weeks of receipt and verification. Please allow one week for verification.

What if there is not a participating salon within 30 miles of my residence?
If there is not a participating salon within 30 miles of your residence, then please contact TLC’s Concierge service at the phone number listed on your voucher and alternative arrangements will be made with you.

How long do I have to use my Reward Voucher?
All Reward Vouchers expire 1/31/09.

When do I have to mail in my Request Form by?
All Request Forms must be postmarked by 12/31/08.

Can I give my Reward Voucher to a friend?
Yes, the Reward Vouchers are transferable and are allowed to be given freely to friends and family. However, they are not able to be sold for cash or other monetary items. The Reward Vouchers hold no monetary value.

Are there any restrictions to this offer?
Yes, only two (2) Reward Vouchers can be used per person or two (2) Reward Vouchers per household.

oh look! TLC, the same people that I'm fighting with to get my hotel stay from the dockers/Kohls promotion. same address and everything. I'm sure the same guy who is "handling" my dockers claim will be sure to take good care of me here too!

I got the Dockers/Kohls voucher with no problem. Did you not get it or have you found a problem using it?

You need to include a receipt so where can we find the best deal on HE products? Not knowing the salons in advance kinda sucks. What if there are none in your area?

sorry to hear that, I did the dockers deal too. I didn't want to be burdened with the taxes or the hassle, so I sold mine on E-bay for $100.

If this works anything like the Walgreens/Wyeth spa deal, you will likely have to request the salon where you want your services done. TLC will get the salon and money approved. Now, the Walgreen/Wyeth deal worked out great some people. The fulfillment company had trouble meeting demand, and they ended up cashing everyone out with a Visa gift card.

Ummmm... it doesn't say anything about traveling long distances. That would be crazy considering the gas prices today. You know, I wondered the same thing, and I was also concerned about finding a salon near me.

However, if you like the herbal essence shampoo, and use the target coupon that Poohness pointed out. You can get (2) bottles of shampoo or conditioner and a mani/pedi for about $4 bucks. Now, I've had really good luck with these deals, or if it looked too difficult to redeem I simply unloaded it on E-bay. If you like HE shampoo, you can't go wrong.

I got my first Pedicure Certificate in the mail. It took more than 6 weeks to receive. Has anyone used there's yet? I don't see a place close to me. I will call tomorrow to see if they make offer for cash or something else.

Last time HE had this promo I WAS able to check available locations (about 6 months ago). I live in the midwest. ALL locations were in CANADA!!!!!

If you like/regularly use these anyhow then go for it as a "possible" bonus but NOT me.

can anyone who has received the mani/pedi certificate tell me if there is a website on it that lists all the participating salons? i'd like to know before i bother seding in the form.
