Oh yeah and the WM Wing is only $50.00 after Rebate!!!

You gotta call T-Mobile's Business Direct number, which is 1-866-464-8662, then option 3 and mentoin that code 6425TMOFAV is what you're callin' about and that you want to order service on a 1 year contract and were told by your co-worker you could get a great deal on one of the devices up top! I tried going into a T-Mobile store and the chick wanted something like $250.00 for the LX!!!

I've seen a bunch of deals on this site, but never seen the Sidekicks which are totally cool, so I thought I'd post! I know you've gotta get new service to get these deals, so I finally left Verizon after 5 years cause they suck and picked up a Sidekick LX for me and the new 8120 Pearl for my girlfriend - I think she loves me again! No activation fee and free shipping!

Anyway I think you should check it out! I had no problems ordering and I did everything while having lunch at my cave! Besides why waste expensive gas when you can pick up the phone!

Thanks dkd. That is one of the ones I mentioned above. I figured this was a new deal cause it had Sidekicks and the the new 8120, which are totally cool! I don't know if data is required, I added it to both cause we wanted email and stuff.

I think OP confirmed it, and the fact that it is a similar deal to the other thread (only appears to be a newer offer) says that it is likely a new version of the other deal.

It would help if people who take advantage of this new offer post their results and maybe give some details on what they got, what relationship they had with tmobile before signing up for this deal, etc.

My wife and I both have tmobile on individual plans. I want to sign up for this offer, she is OOC, I still have a few months left in mine. We both want to get new BB Pearls.

the wing for 50 dollars would be nice.

I have the 8525 which is similar but the battery dies horribly fast.

I called the number as you mentioned. I was excited until the lady over the phone told me that most (like 8) of the phones that you have mentioned are not free (AR). Like for dash its 50$ after rebate. Only 8700g is free after 50$ rebate. I dont know mate, post reply and let me know pal. Thanks!

I called TM-CSR... and here is what I've been told (by CSR and Supervisor) Data plan is required to get $50 rebate. You only need data plan until you get your rebate check then you can cancel the plan.

Yes, just called the CSR and was told exactly the same thing, I mean, you have to buy the data plan for 9.99/month but you can call it later. Another thing is, the promotion is only for new customers or existing customers adding new lines. If you are an existing T-Mobile customer, you have to add a new line to your current plan and only the new line is qualified for the promotion (to get a free phone, basically). No new phone for your existing lines. Hope this helps.

As an FYI -- you had to purchase your phone by yesterday (April 30) in order to qualify for the rebate. But I think for the 8120, it's still a decent deal even without the rebate ($99.99 with free shipping and waived activation fee).

Hey, somebody asked about the data plan and the cost of it to qualify for rebates, $9.99 for all the devices except phones which don't need em. As for the Dash goes, I considered it before the Sidekick and its definitely FREE after the mail-in rebate cause the care person I was speaking with confirmed that. These are hot deals, otherwise I would never have posted. . My girlfriend loves the 8120 and for $50 bucks I love her more!

T-Mobile's data is slow compared with AT&T and both are slower than Sprint or Verizon.
T-Mobile just announced 3g (faster data service) for NYC, and will supposedly roll out
this service for other major metropolitan areas over the next year or so.
AT&T has 3.5G in some markets; the CMDA EVDO data speed from Sprint or Verizon is still faster.

I like the Sidekicks, especially the screen on the LX. I wonder what future Sidekick phones will be like now that Microsoft has bought Danger (the company that makes the software for the phone.) For business use I find doing text on the Sidekick superior because they have a separate row (like a standard QWRTY keyboard) for numerics and punctuation, and since my messages always contain numbers that speeds up things a lot.

I ordered without the plan. Now can I add the data plan, get the rebate and cancel the data plan. How would they know that you have data plan. They are not asking for the first month bill. In my initial order there was no data plan.

What is this 9,99 data plan I keep hearing about? I don't see anything about it on their website. I'm assuming you need the data plan to get the rebate.
