Great deal for my deck speakers and still plenty of summer left. Now I can stop looking for old receivers on craigslist 
Needed a 50W receiver to drive bass shakers - and this is perfect..onkyo to boot. Better than a funai or insignia from worst buy, even if it is refurbed.
I've heard great things about these. If this one had digital inputs I'd be all over it. I've got a Harmon Kardon 3480 running my Klipschs now - just waiting on a deal for the new 3490 with optical and coax (because I use a Soundbridge and I'm looking to go digital.)
If you can't find a 3480 cheap or don't need or want to hold out for the 3490, BUY THIS RECEIVER! Straight up stereo receivers are getting fewer and further between now a days and this is a good one.
Also, 50w is more than enough to power some tight, efficient speakers.

mine goes into protection mode whenever it feels like it...problem is inside the receiver (disconnected speakers and turned volume all the way up).
I'm gonna get a full refund and they're paying for the shipping.
I had two onkyo amps in my system, and both shared the same remote codes, and that was a pain..I guess I need to look for an alternative at this point.
