Hey guys,
Just got back from Sears Essentials in San Diego (Mission Valley)
They had the Kodak 8" digital frame on clearance from $199 down to $70 with an additional 10% off for clearance items- came out to $62 + tax

I don;t know if this is regional so good luck. There was only one in Mission Valley, sorry guys, I had to buy it.

anyone know how to tell which Kodak models use LED's for backlight and which ones don't ? I think we're getting to the point where they're switching over and the older non-LED models are the ones typically on clearance.

Sears is Sears. However they may not have stock at one or the other type of store and 'one-offs' like open box pricing would be specific to the store.

To be more specific... most Sears 'clearance' deals wind up being things in the store with one of those yellow stickers on them. If it's got a yellow sticker on it then the price is definitely store specific. Other specific clearance prices are not going to be chainwide unless you see it on their website, but generally if an item is on some kind of clearance in the computer at some Sears Store or some Sears Essentials somewhere then it will probably be clearanced at some price level at the others.

No luck at my local Sears, but that is a deal! They are offering an additional 10% off all clearance electronics, though.
