thanks OP. may go with my paintball buddies one day to the field located 15 miles away from me. i wonder what's the cost of 500 paintballs and if after that one can use paintballs purchased elsewhere.

The center closest to me only allows paint purchased on site. Seems a little steep at $25 for 500 balls. Is this normal? I have never been to a paint ball field.

Fields that don't sell equipment often provide paint at cost. Expect to pay $30-35/case.
In addition to paint, expect to pay $15-25 for all day play, including gun and mask rental and C02 refills.

Depends on where you live - I do not know of any field that can "provide paint at cost" and stay in business (in addition, $35 a cs isn't cost unless you are buying much less than a skid).

That being said, in the NorthEast, figure ~$65 a case (2000 rnds) and $20 for greens fees (which the coupon takes care of).
Most places around here are about $15 for 500 rnds.

While paint seems high, the reality is that's how they pay rent on the land they play on.. fields that allow you to bring your own, will usually have higer greens fees, or make it up in refreshment sales.

Looking at the language on the actual coupon, perhaps the coupon applies only to green fee?
