This is the lowest legitiate pricing I have seen for a BD-ROM to date. It includes PowerDVD BD-ROM addition which alone is ~$30. Reviews are mixed but we use this drive in Dell PCs with no problems so far.

nice deal. about the cost of 4 movies. I'm in no rush though, I'll wait till it's less than $40. For now, HDD hold plenty of compressed high def files, and the internets supplies it all free!

There are very few movies out there that I would buy. Get a membership with NetFlix already. It would be legal and high quality. No Chinese subtitles, crappy audio, and people standing up in front of the screen to go get popcorn.

I have one in my Dell 530. Works great, plays everything with free software upgrades.

Here is the thing with this though. It only uses 10% of the CPU power of my Q6600, but it used 99% of my 3.2 gig Northwood, and wouldn't play a movie at all without it freezing all the time. In other words, if you have a P4, you can forget using this, you need at least a dual core.
