Great deal on good phones - thanks.

I bought the pink set elsewhere for around $12 a couple of months ago. Nice headphones (good sound and don't hurt my ears like my iPod's original earbuds do) and this is a great deal!

Could not get my order through.

Site is now down!

EDIT: Back up now, but order not going through. Tried both Firefox and IE.
EDIT2: Site down again.

Hammered.

Are these active noise reduction headphones or do they just do so because of the foam?

alert mods

Just my two cents....

I got a pair of these for $10 at Staples a few months back, and they are very tinny sounding and hardly any bass.

Just be aware.....

I would think for $5 you would be right. Noise reduction in this case is probably borderline misused too. You can cup your hands over your existing headphones to get "noise reduction".

I got them during the $10 sale at CC last year and ended up returning them. They sounded really bad, about like any $.99 set of earbuds.

That bad, huh... I'm gonna stay away then... Thanks.

not true. if you turn the headphones to fit into your ears they are not tinny at all. if you just let them sit on the outer edge of your ears then they are tinny...as would any set of headphones

Finally, order went through.

Thanks, OP!

This coupon is not just for these earbuds - it works for $5 off of $10 on anything on the site.

In their stock condition, these sound pretty crappy, but if you do the Kramer Mod on them (search the head-fi forums), they sound dramatically better.

i have no idea what you guys are talking about. These sound great. a lot of reviewers on amaz0n agree with me too. maybe you didn't insert them properly into your ears? also, they do a pretty good job at noise reduction. i use them all the time when i study.
