Here we go again!!

I made this purchase back in April or May (maybe earlier)...several months ago. I got a King Plush and the seperate featherbed with protector. We are still VERY HAPPY about our purchase and would buy it again in a heartbeat. I went all over town at that time haggling with places on any of the Simmons beds yet nobody could come close in price. I forget exactly what we paid, but it was around a thousand for the bed, feather bed, and the feather/down pillows.

Purchase the bed, you CANT go wrong! Its not a 'steal' but certainly several hundred dollars cheaper than any place I could find for relative type beds.

With gas prices & the 10 year warranty & old mattress disposal & new bedding setup = win for buyer.

Im laying on mine right now.

Got in on this around october 07. Bought a plush cal-king and low profile box spring for 730 shipped.

Its quite comfy, very satisfied.

The last time this came around, we were very close to buying it. HOwever, at that time, Sams Club had a clearance on all their beds, and we were able to get a STEAL for $240 for a eurotop plush Queen Bed. So I don't think there are any clearance deals going on, but from reading through hudnreds of pages of thread from the previous deals, these W beds are very worth it.

thank you! i've been looking for this code for a while now. i need to decide low profile or high profile. does 3 inches really make that big a difference?

has everyone been getting the frame and box springs through W? Or have they been getting it somewhere else. thanks.

We have a queen size plush top and the low profile box. The plush and pillow top mattresses are considerable taller than standard beds, especially you go with the full setup with the feather topper, etc. If your bed frame is standard (not low profile), you might want to get the LP box.

Uh, as far as I know it's not the end of August yet as stated in the OP.

I bought the Q pillowtop, have been very happy with it. But I wish I'd gotten the low profile boxspring instead of the regular, and wish I hadn't bothered with buying their frame (very simple metal frame, can pick up elsewhere cheaply). Just a heads up for prospective buyers.

I have the Heavenly bed, it's amazing. It's higher end than the W mattress.

Does anybody know the type of Simmons mattress this is? So I can go to a local mattress store and try it out before committing to this final sale? Much thanks in advance!

from another board, they said it stated:

STARWOOD 425 PLUSH

I called my local SleepCountry USA and they said they carried them. I'm going after work to test it out.

any reason why you would by a W box spring for extra $500? does having a good box spring matter?

i currently have ikea (bachelor set) getting married soon and would like to upgrade!

We went to our local slumberland and got the simmons black beauty rosalyn for clearance $1200 (set) which is $2800 at Macys. If this is in your budget I highly recommend it, and believe it is higher end than this W beds.

the W bed doesn't seem to be a nice set. 1056 coils seems to be low. other $1700 range beds are at 2500+ coil count.

Hey! Do the featherbed feathers poke out or like slide around on the bed (ive had bad experience with memory foam)? Do i need to get the protector?
