$25 Optima Battery Rebate

This seems to be good for any Optima purchase at any store (O'Reilly not specified). I found it on the O'Reilly Web site (link to O'Reilly rebates page here in case the above link does not work--scroll down to find it).

Rebate expires 9/15/08.

This is a good deal if you have recently purchased an Optima or have a need for one. These are spendy (but very good) batteries!

Edit to say this same rebate shows up at Jegs, so it looks like it is good for a purchase anywhere.

Optima batteries appear to be on sale at Advance Auto until 8/30, just FYI.

Looks good. I remember seeing Optima batteries at Costco not too long ago. My OEM battery is 3.5 years old now and doesn't show any problems. My coworker has the same OEM battery in her car which she bought new at the end of 2001. It's almost 7 years old (it's some kind of Panasonic battery made in Japan) and it's still working great. Personally, I would like to replace my battery *before* it dies (leaving me stranded) and 7 years is stretching a 'conventional' battery. I wouldn't mind an Optima battery when the time comes..
