I actually got one for my apartment. Since it's a studio with a small balcony, this will work great.
I was looking for a Weber Q100 earlier, but decide to settle on this due to the price.

Yes. I use the grills for BBQ, burgers, steaks, etc. Much like how you would use a normal size BBQ, except I have limited space.

Machobeans, you've nailed it. Imagine, an entire nation of people needlessly buying gas and charcoal grills, not realizing they didn't need them! Do they not have stoves in their homes?

I almost pulled the trigger until psychobeans reminded me that these are only for hobos! I am not a hobo, ergo I do not need this! Thanks psychobeans!
I bought this at the beginning of the summer. $29.82 is the REGULAR PRICE- this isn't a sale or special.
It's very, very cheap. Thin stamped steel and comes in about three hundred pieces. It's not a "hybrid", it's a gas grill that has slots that you can put charcoal in to get charcoal flavor (don't know if it works- never bothered with it). Takes camping tanks- each one is good for one to two hours of grilling. It does have a thermometer, which is nice, but it doesn't have a grease trap, so you'll get grease running down the legs of the grill- after you use it once you won't want to put it in your car or travel with it. After three months, it's gotten so rusty and dirty that we've stopped using it (which is fine- we're waiting out the end of summer sales to get a "nice" one.)
These aren't just for hobos anymore! Like Jamesbear said, I had one when I was doing the apartment thing. They also work wonderfully for tailgating. We take ours to Falcons games and grill brats while we toss the football around before heading in to witness another beatdown 
Edit - yeah this is pretty much regular price for this grill. It is cheap and flimsy, but as long as you're not dragging it behind your car, it should hold up nicely.
These are nice for camping; even when conditions prohibit campfires, you can still cook outdoors.
But no one except Hobos go camping, so nevermind.
I was walking in to WalMart yesterday when this really shaggy looking guy popped out of nowhere and asked if I can spare some change for a portable grill.
My local WalMart had these marked down to $25..
