Here is my story.

Macy's has a big sale today. I saw in Macy's in Manhattan, NY Wine Enthusiast 28 Bottle Wine Refrigerator with prise on it $299. Because everithing else was on sale I asked cashier double check price for this friedge and was really surprise it comes down to $44.99!!!
The system says store has 4 in stock, but cashier and guy who bring me this freidge told this is the last one. I think they just wanted to buy others for themself. So, not sure if make sence go to this particular store. But you can check another stores.

I didn't try over the phone, but I didn't found this item online. You can try by phone and have it delivered. I paid in store for delivery to my home $10.99

Can you provide a list of people I can and cannot call so I can stick it by my phone? Or better yet, maybe I can borrow your horse and take it for a spin to Macy's because I am not burning gas just to find out if a clearly optional item like a wine refrigerator is in stock or not.

Is there a SKU number from your receipt that you can post up? Macy's website says big sale is for today only (Saturday)..I wonder if this will be back to regular price tomorrow.

EDIT- My local Macy's only carries one model for wine refrigerators and thats an 8 bottle Haier.

What is the bar code of the Wine Enthusiast 28 Bottle Wine Refrigerator on your receipt?

item number on the receipt is: 031333014198 but I can not find it on Macys web page.
And bar code on the receipt is 0032002584

BTW, that 8 bottle Haier is on sale too. Reg. price $119 and sale is $39

Don't waste your gas and time if you don't know your area's Macy's stores! Only a few Macy's stores sell such a big(relatively) home appliances like 28 Bottle Wine Refrigerator. Most of them only sell portable kitchen products. I checked two Macy's stores and they only sell 8 and 9-bottle ones.

I called the corporate office to ask where they might have the same price in my area. Lady was really nice said it definitely looked like a mistake and would make sure to notify the stores. Sucks I guess I won't get one after all.

i wish we could ban people that call stores. it is not that hard of a concept to understand. call the store and alert workers to an amazing deal and then be shocked to see there are none left when you get there. what morons, DO NOT CALL!!!
