Tough call if it's worthwhile though. Same functionality in the 2GB model for only $30, or 4GB more for extra 50% ($15). Especially when you consider that both are expandable with micro-SD cards that are getting cheaper every day, if you need more space. From what I've heard they can use SDHC format cards (4GB+) if you install rockbox, but not before (unless sansa version 2.0).
You can get a 4GB microSD card for around $15. That gives you a 6GB player for the same price. I don't even need the extra space right now since my e250 is just being used at the gym.
