It worked for me yesterday. I bought something from the Gap and Old Navy. Did the items in your cart show that they were from two or more of the different stores?

Yes. I have 3 items from gap and one from Old Navy. I even thought it might be because the Old Navy item was a clearance item, but I added another item and I still get the error message!

I called Gap BTW and the mentally challenged rep gave me several of the most nonsensical explanations I have ever heard, but in the end refused to help. How hard would it be for her to just place the order with free shipping over the phone!?

Minimal - $6.99 at Gap, $4.99 @ ON. All I can think of is to try manually entering the code, using all caps, be sure you're entering it in the right box, trying another browser, etc. (I used FF). Good luck!

I entered it multiple times, copied, pasted, typed, it didn't matter. I even added something from Banana Republic to my cart and it still didn't work! I called back, got a less mentally challenged rep, and he gave me free shipping no problem

Won't work for me either. Had clearance items from Old Navy and GAP, but gave same error message. Even after adding ridiculously overpriced Banana Republic pants, still no go. Bummer.

I purchased 1 clearance item from Old Navy and 3 items from the GAP and received the same error message. I called 800gapstyle she placed my order the representative added the promo code and i was not charged the shipping fees. Thanks for the tip.

I just spoke with a customer service rep and she told me the MULTISTORE code is tracked by the company with cookies so if I didn't receive the e-mail from the company regarding the code, it will not work on my computer.

That's so strange for them to say that. I didn't get an email, and only found out about the free shipping when I went to the Old Navy site and it had a "Free Shipping etc.." notice at the top of their page. It is still there on their site. Weird that it's only working for some.
