seem 24.96 might have problem with the 12 rebate offer
better buy some other stuff together to avoid this problem

It doesn't add up to $12.96. It should be be $24.96 like oldfishvt said, but still a good deal.

Green and good deal, but they've priced this so that you're out of luck on the second rebate. Unfortunately there's no filler either - cheapest item eligible is another barebones scale at $16.77. Guess it'd work if you want a second scale for $5, but I'll stick with the original one.

^ You can add any item from Health & Personal Care (ex: soap, toothpaste) to make the $25.

Example, add: Ultralast UL-1616 Lithium Button Cell Battery DL1616B and ECR-1616BP Equivalent - 95 cents.

I bought this in the previous deal for ~$15 and the 9v battery cost me ~$5 to run this thing.

That's from Electronics - it has to be from Grocery or Health & Personal Care for the magazine refund.

Actually, if you set your search for Health & Personal Care and search for 'Ultralast UL-1616', click on item and it shows it qualifies for the $12 magazine subscription or rebate. They have the item out there twice (typical Amazon)under BOTH catagories. I did a screen capture to show it qualifies if there are any questions. Thanks for pointing out its under Electronics too.

I did a search under the "Amazon" category (which is all of Amazon)and it returned just the one item which when clicked on shows it to be in Electronics. However to the left it is shown in both categories and can be isolated to Health & Personal Care by clicking on that category. This is a new one on me.
So, yes, you are correct. The key to the qualification of any item is to scroll down and see if it applies to this promo (as you pointed out).
