Just left Office Depot and found 3 monitors marked on clearance from $229.99 to $103.04. It is a 19" Gateway FPD1975W. I do not know much about LCD monitors, but based on the reviews I found online I am going back to pick up all 3. It has DVI and Analog, 4 USB ports, and appears to be a basic, yet decent entry level LCD monitor. For $103, figure what the heck, let's see what everyone here thinks !!

Specs on it are OK for the price, but I'm guessing it'll be too YMMV to be useful for most people. I generally consider good 19" widescreens to be worth about $120, so this is pretty decent, but probably not great for reselling.

how about the best buy 10% coupon? i think you can sweeten this deal by getting a competitor's coupon but as always YMMV

Box was "damaged" (actually barely bent on one corner)...Picked up the monitor WITH a one year replacement contract which starts AFTER the one year Gateway warranty for $83.04 !!

Checked other stores around Cincinnati and had no luck....Now apparently a HUGE YMMV.....Should have followed my instincts and bought all 3 when I first saw it !

If you aren't going to use it now, then you might as well wait. These Monitors were $200+ 3 years ago... In another 5 years or so, these might be FAR!
