Solid deal but a word of warning. Apparently Samsung's pretty awful with rebates. Just google 'samsung rebate scam' for about a bajillion examples.

If it was a CC rebate I would probably jump on it since they've gotten a lot better in the past few years (can't believe I'm saying that)...but after reading a little I'm not so sure the $70 will come through. Sounds kinda like TD rebates sadly enough.

I have purchased only samsung monitors for probably the past 6 years and I've never had a problem with receiving a rebate (of course every single one had a rebate) from Samsung. It could just be my luck though. Nonetheless, you just need to be diligent like with any rebate; have photocopies, etc. You'll win in the end. Certainly, Samsung is not in the class of companies like Soyo...
