I think with the lower price now at officemax, the deal can be very hot now.

paypal CashBack is now up 25% upto $50!!! yay! sweeter with 6 to 10% live CashBack and 30 off 150 coupon. ofcourse the coupon part is ymmv since you have to buy one from eBay or ejunk.

199.99 - 30 (coupon) = $169.99 - $10 (6% live CashBack on $169.99) - $42.50 (25% paypal CashBack on $169.99) = $117.50 + tax (YMMV based on the coupon availability)

Here you go!

sounds legit to me, i'm gonna be checkin this out. i need a new monitor for ACAD

Using paypal to pay can screw up getting the live (or FatCash for that matter) CashBack. It loses track of your order session and the CashBack doesn't always go through.

So, YMMV.

i'm able to get it down to $183.89 (after coupon/tax), with 25% paypal it's going to be $137.92.....

just warm in my book, it's hot if i'm able to knock down anohter $10 with CB

This is what I tried to do,
login from live.com and add it to card,
use a 30 off 150 bought from e-junkie
I saw $30 took off from total,
Choose paypal and login paypal,
At the confirmation page, I didn't see anything says if I'm elligble for Cash Back.
Did I do anything wrong?

The reviews on Newegg are pretty poor: http://www.Newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824112009&Tpk=X22WG

A crappy monitor at an amazing price (even without the live CashBack, $127 is insane), is still a crappy monitor.

I was all excited to jump on this deal but the reviews do look pretty bad. Amazon reviews are bad too.

Good deal though OP. Green for you.

the homepage has

Beginning July 31, 2008 through September 30, 2008 you can receive 25% Cash Back with no minimum purchase* ..

I did a purchase a couple of days ago, when it was still 20% upto $25... Anyone know if I'll receive the 25% or should I cancel and re-order.

update: contacted officemax and paypal - both claimed they didn't have CashBack information.

Where is the info on CashBack from paypal?? I never heard of this. Thx.

haha wow, they put 1080p (it's not) as part of the model number and it looks like dvi-in fails after a year (says many reviews)
also says that it's blurry (+TN type panel)

I am pretty sure you'll receive the 25% upto $50 CashBack if you had purchased after July 31st. they sure have upped the offer hoping to get more buyers. And when they run their program after September, they'll run it such that it'll offer 25% upto 50 bucks to all orders that have been placed between Jul 31 and Sep 30

This is very amazing. I shop this stuff and have never before seen a 22" HD monitor. 24" is the smallest I ever saw in the past.

I wonder if this really is HD. It's tough putting all those pixels on a 22 inch screen . . . . . . heck . . . . . . it's tough putting them on a 24 inch screen.

EDIT

Hey, wait a second. It's saying resolution is 1680 x 1050. That's not full HD . . . . . at least not to me. Full HD would be 1080 X 1920.

Agreed. There are some pretty unhappy folks out there who have tried to do this on other deals. Took 'em days to clean it up . . . . if at all. Live and PayPal do NOT mix. But I think most people are aware of this by now.

You mean 1920 x 1080. Yes, it is just shy of 1080 since it is 1050. However, 720p is still considered to be HD so the monitor could claim to be HD. Just about any computer monitor could claim to be HD. It is the EDTVs (480 lines) and regular analog TVs that are not HD.
