From Amazon review, this seems to have an excellent picture quality.

However, the firmware would only allow you to play 280 pictures (even though it will read 1GB of SD card). It's not bad, but just so you know.

I don't trust the screenshot they provide of the frame... seems like a smaller 4:3 aspect ratio LCD than what it REALLY should be. See this page for actual frame picture..

It's easy to do a batch change with software (such as IrfanView) to 'fix' the picture(s) aspect ratio.
One thing I'd really want to know: what's the 'selectable interval time.'?

How often the photo changes, i.e. every 3 seconds, 10 seconds etc.

Good point about the irfanview. I change all my photos (using Irfanview-bulk resize) to the native resolution of the frame at 72dpi. Reduces the size of the photos by a factor of 10 atleast.

what is the point of a 16:9 photo frame? Don't know any digital cameras that takes pics in 16:9.

Is it because they manufacture these lcds for portable dvd players?

My Canon SD750 has a 16:9 mode...but I prefer the old 4:3 mode and thus will pass on this.

Deal is dead, but the same place is still offering a 5.6-inch Matsunichi one (that is 4:3) for $25.

My frame came in DOA...makes me wary of ever ordering from RedTag again.
