ok first deal on FatWallet, please go easy!
I was at BB in Columubs, OH off of Stringtown Rd and they had Sony VAIO VGN-NR310E/S on clearance for $377.99 (Reg. Price $599.99). I did the $100 HSI trick and with tax mine was $296.75 (bought the last/only one), not too shabby I thought. Here are the specs:
Intel Pentium Dual-Core processor T2370 (1.73 ghz, 1 MB L2 cache, 533 mhz FSB)
1 GB (512x2) DDR2-533 SDRAM
160 GB SATA (5400 rpm)
DVD-RW +RW/+DL -DL/RAM
15.4" WXGA TFT w/ XBRITE-ECO
Memory stick slot
Vista home Premium with SP1
silver case (as opposed to white?)
I think people will opt for the other deal at BB for $379.99/$399.99 most likely. Just thought i'd share. Anyways the only sore spot I see is the RAM. But I did remember there being good deals on notebook RAM lately, or if you decide on XP/linux this will handle it. Let me know what you guys think. I guess this is OK if you're on a serious budget, but if you're like me then maybe you see some potential of making a quick buck
no matter what you say about Sony, they still have brand image that never seems to die.
