Circuit City has it on sale for 19.99 as mentioned in this thread

Office Depot right now has it marked as $49.99 minus a $10 MIR here

PM the CC price at OD, and the MIR prints out at the register.

49.99 - $30 PM - $10 MIR = $9.99 + tax

EDIT: tricks for getting this price with stingy Office Depot cashiers:

Method 1: Just ask for the price match and dont mention the rebate! the rebate prints automatically after the receipt. once theyve given you the price match and rang you up i doubt they will refuse you the rebate form... if youre extra paranoid, either just tear it off the receipt roll yourself after it prints or say something like "thats mine too" and dont mention its a rebate!

Method 2 (and completey circumvents the managers/cashiers): Pay the full price at Office Depot WITH CREDIT CARD, and let them give you the rebate. Then, call 1-800-Go-Depot and have them give you the PM over the phone. they will do it as long as its within 7 days of the day you bought it!

i would assume if you can read that its a PM you would know its B+M, still you can PM this via phone through Office Depot...

Forget it! Office Depot never price matches in Houston, TX (we have smart managers/cashiers).

Thanks OP! Been dying for a good BT mouse for my new micro PC, this was perfect. OD did the match no prob.

TIP: Bring in a print out of the CC web page with the price on it, along with the local stores list in your area if one shows it in stock for pickup. Then they know the price, and don't need to call to verify in-stock status. When I did this it took 5 seconds to get them to PM.

Argh, my local CC stores are all OOS. I am going to print the webpage and bring it to OD with my fingers crossed!

Looks like they located more Inventory!

I just ordered one On-Line from CC. Nothing Local for pickup.

Shipped with Tax was $25.84.

An Excellent Price for a Microsoft Bluetooth Mouse.

Had no trouble with PM by showing the CC page. The rebate is funded by Microsoft. Thanks OP.

SHowed the CC price with local availability and received PM immediately. No problems receiving the rebate as it prints after the transaction. Thanks OP

Got one in. No problem with PM. However, when the rebate form was printing after the receipt, he said he was not sure if I could get it since he already did a PM. So he asked another OD employee to figure out the problem, but the second employee was totally out of the situation. So I told him that if I was not qualified for the rebate due to the PM, then I would not receive the rebate check, so he could just give the rebate form to me without worries. His answer was very interesting to me. He said: "You would get the rebate check if you submit it". And he said that he could not give me the rebate form because my price after PM was lower than the original price after rebate. He said that's their policy. And then I said it's fine and left. The rebate form is available from OD website. Hahaha!! After all, if I cannot get the check eventually, $19.99 plus tax is still a good deal. Thanks!!
