I just pre-ordered Spore--yes, I know it's the last day--and I knew about the $10.00 eGiftCard, but after processing my order, it looks like the eGiftCard was applied to the purchase, so the price came to $39.99, plus tax $3.30, (in CA) plus free shipping which totals to $43.29.

If your one the people that will scream if you do not get it on the same day it is released, this deal is not for you. CC is notorious for late shipping on these items.

An eGiftCard is a digital GiftCard--pretty much you don't get an actual card, just a code worth $XX.xx.
