Volume and mass are totally different measures! I had one of these that I picked up at Big Lots about 6 months ago for around $15.00. It was somewhat flimsy and was under severe stress with about 12 lbs of items in it. I didn't trust that it wouldn't collapse on my daughter, so I returned it.
Not recommended...but it's moot anyway, as it's OOS.
