Linky Dinky

Supposedly works for XP/Vista, Ubuntu/*nix's, and even OSX (with orangeware drivers). No idea how well the antenna works, but hey, it's 10 bucks.

Got it for my k45 build I bought from here, and unlike the recent Newegg rosewill deal for 9.99 then/14.99 now, no tax for CA residents!

edit: Amazon is still taking orders to be shipped out later. make sure the seller selected is Amazon, and not the others!

I've used the regular G version of this card, it's solid, great reception even in tough spots among thick/concrete walls. Don't let the price fool ya...
Note: I'm referring to the regular G version, whereas this card is for Super G. This is not a review of current product.

I have the regular G version too and it sucks. The released driver that supports WPA2 blue screens XP. The tech support is awful. They sent me three different versions of the driver, all with different image sizes but the same version number. The card generates more heat than the rest of my system. I have this in a room about 20' from the trendnet router (one drywall wall) and it gets 2 bars of signal and goes off into space for 8-10 seconds at a time.

I get better overall throughput and reliability with an old powerline networking adapter.

My overall experience with trendnet client adapters and drivers is EXTREMELY poor.

An irresponsible generalized blanket comment.

I have a Trendnet 633 n router that is working great. Had by a super deal at Newegg.
