Has anyone purchased that air purifier above? If so, how has the experience been? I am thinking of buying it. That might not be the lowest price though...have to check, they do offer free shipping. |

Rabbit Air purifiers have an excellent reputation, along side the similar models from Sharp. I realize it's tough to tell the good brands from the scam brands, but Rabbit Air, Blue Air and Sharp in particular are excellent brands in the higher-priced range. They are worlds better than the Honeywell and Holmes stuff. |
The unit is slightly undersized for my condo, but if I find it to be beneficial, I would consider picking up a second. It covers 780 sq ft and my condo is 1200 sq ft. |
You'd want 2 units to cover your living space, unless you have a very small place - which you don't. A typical setup would be a larger unit in the main living area, and a smaller one in the bedroom of the person who needs the unit. As example, I have a BlueAir 402 in the living room / dining room (they are so quiet that it can't be heard) and a Sharp in my bedroom (automatic variable speed) - you don't have to spend a lot for both. If you buy a BlueAir for one of the locations, be sure to google for refurbished units. |
