I believe this is the newer version of R4DS that handles the higher capacity micro-SDHC chips. only $.51 more than the non-SDHC version.

R4DS-Advance

free shipping.

good price if you don't already have one for your NDS/NDSL. cheap upgrade if you want to use higher capacity SDHC chips. Christmas coming soon.

This is not a real R4DS but a clone that stole the R4 name and added 'advance', and some people have reported problems with them. IMO, better off with the DSTT ($11.99 on DX), CycloDS, or other original design with SDHC support. However, it might not be a bad buy, as LONG as you know you're getting a knockoff and NOT a new version of the R4DS like OP claimed.

I heard some bad things about this R4 advance. I am looking for a replacement of my R4 so I can use Micro SDHC instead of 2G max MicroSD. I will buy the DSTT from same place and see how it compare to R4.

I also highly recommend CycloDS if you're planning on using it heavily. Otherwise, an original R4 will be fine.

It's a clone. Might as well get a DSTT, MARS, or N5 unless you are going to sell them as $50 R4 cards or something.

... and for the record - I did a double take when I saw this too! Then I saw the full name and it hit me lol.

I second this statement. Although the CycloDS is not as cheap as a FW user would like ($45-$50~), if you are going to use it a lot the CycloDS is reliable, compatible, and updated fairly regularly.

www.gbatemp.net is a great site for thorough reviews of the various homebrew cards for the DS.

If you can find one that's not a phony
