Price seems to range between $20 and $28. Wait and buy low. Got two (max per purchase). Not wireless but you can always daisy-chain with a wireless router which is what I do. 8-drop switches are hard to find for a good price if you have the need--especially if they are quality (Netgear vs. no-name) and new. With new homes and the capability to have structured wiring in every room, why not have a LAN drop in each one? No matter how you slice it, wired is still faster than wireless not to mention the added assurance in security.

This is a router with an 8 port switch with VPN capabilities but can also be used as a dummy switch.

We tested it w/ our Sonicwall pro 2040 and worked out great and a cheaper alternative than those Sonicwall client devices especially those that need more than 2 active tunnels.

However, I would prefer a gigabit since pretty much every desktop is equipped with them these days.

Doesn't matter it is sold out.
