Yea, I thought it was ugly too however I read the reviews and it seems the color is not like the picture. Thus the reason for such good reviews.

Gave as a gift to my wife. The true color is much softer green than the picture. The bedskirt fits exactly - that's hard to find especially in CA-King. Read more

This is a not like the picture
This is a beautiful comforter set, not at all stark, lime, green, like the picture. It is a muted olive. Will look great in most home decors. Very luxurious and looks great. Read more

Trusting the other reviewers, I ordered this in olive. The true color of mine is closer to sage/olive with a muted gold pattern rather than the wicked green that's pictured. Yes, there are some imperfections but at this price point, I feel like I got a great deal.

Most of the folks got it cheaper for 19 or 20 shipped.
