The Oxi-Clean version for HE washers is also on sale for $9.88: brighter, whiter, April-fresh linkage!

Heckuva deal!

cool

That's a good price per load (4.9˘). I'd usually get the 180 load version when it was on sale for $9.99, but I don't see it on the Sears website anymore.

This looks good too.

How is it compare to the price of Costco's detergent per load?

It is a good deal....HOWEVER that does (Gain 64 loads or Tide 48-64 loads) lets say 60 loads, so two bottles to do 120 loads is $20.00. The Sears is $5.88 for 120 loads

That is right, but TIDE is TIDE.

I like to keep some liquid Tide on hand for dark stuff. I use the Sears with the Oxy Clean in it as much as possible but that powder just don't disolve all that well. I wind up with some spots from it on dark stuff like jeans. A time and a place for each as they say.

Do they still make the HE non-fragrant variety? I didn't see it on their online listing.

Right..most of the time powder detergent gets lumpy.

no more Tide HE liquid in my Front Loader...

Thanks OP. This is my favorite detergent. I used Cheer liquid for years, but after I got a front loader I started getting a scummy buildup (yes, I was using HE). I read about the Sears powdered detergent on another forum, and decided to give it a try. It's cheaper, and it works better than Cheer...plus I no longer get the scummy buildup in my washer.

I'm actually wondering if they're discontinuing this detergent? The regular variety was out of stock at 2 of my local stores. I was able to order the kind with the Oxi-Clean though.

BTW, Sears detergent is HE whether it says it on the box or not. It's all low-sudsing, and actually the same exact detergent (according to a salesman, and I also read this on the Gardenweb forums).

Oh, and if it's not dissolving, you're probably using too much, or your water is too cold. I only use a 1/2 to 3/4 of a scoop, depending on the size of the load.

I really like this detergent. It is also highly rated by Consumer Report.

If you look on the Gardenweb forums, you'll find tons of positive reviews for Sears detergent. I've been using it since last fall, and I love it...well, as much as you can actually "love" laundry detergent. It's cheap, and does an excellent job. Plus, it's very low sudsing, so you can use it in a front loader. My scum build-up problem in my washer has stopped since I started using this. I like that it barely has a scent. I don't like smelling like a container of laundry detergent.

I agree this does not disolve well.
