I have a few Oakley sunglasses. I dont think Oakley lens are that great. Mostly what I look for Oakley is design and for outdoor activity use. My Serengeti sunglasses lens are superior to most Oakley lens.
Btw. This is a good deal. Let me start by saying I worked in the eyeglass industry for 5 years and have sold every mfgr under the sun. I find these comments amusing, first the lenses in these are genuine Oakley lenses they just use transitions technology in them and are up to the same quality as other Oakley lenses. Second the comment about Serengeti lenses being superior to most Oakley lenses is nonsense, All Oakley lenses use their HDO technology which is superior to all other Polycarbonate technology being used today. Now if the Serengeti's have glass lenses which some do then the statement could be true but not all are optically superior to Oakley's HDO tech. http://Oakley.com/innovation/optical_superiority/hdo |
