A heads-up for those that don't get Costco mailers. The new issue shows that Costco will soon be offering five $20 Starbucks cards for $79.99 and also two $25 Godiva cards for $39.99. Cards will sold at the warehouses only, not online.

Item numbers will be:

Starbucks - #330867

Godiva - #304630

Perfect for Christmas... though all five will just go to one person in my case. Thanks for the heads up!

This is great for us java fiends. Starbucks isn't my favorite, but sadly the other coffee joints near my office are even worse.

I guess that means they have eliminated Caribou's gift cards?

Thanks OP, this will be useful for gifts to people!

Is this a dated promotion? Like only available for certain dates (of the mailer, etc) or will this be a permanent thing where you can ALWAYS get $100 giftcards for $79.99? TIA.

That's what makes me sad - IMHO, I just think I enjoy caribou coffee more - that and knocking 10 cents off w/ trivia just makes the experience that much better.

Oh well, can't knock discounted coffee.

Can't say for certain, but my experience with Costco is that there are no permanent deals.

Oh, and BTW, these are already in some of the stores in CA.

While 20% for Starbucks card seem reasonable, Starbucks and Godiva are both high priced fad type products and not worth even with 20% discount except for maybe cheapest brewed coffee from Starbucks.

With consumer pulling back, these 2 companies are in trouble.

Keep drinking your Folgers then.

This is a hot deal for anyone else with a Starbucks addiction. Thanks OP!

Anyone know if this will work with the 2% executive reward? Not a deal breaker by any means, just curious.

I think it's a good idea to make this statement. If they were to go under, people that went crazy on the GC would be left holding the bag... like me with my $40 in Sharper Image GCs...

Buy as many as you want, just don't unwrap them. Costco is not about to go under and you can return any unwrapped gift cards to Costco with no time limit in the event the merchants go under.

lol.. I guess, Im a loyal high priced fad type customer. I spend about $30 each month at Starbucks for pleasure/coffee. This card would save me big each year. The money I saved, I can pay for gas to get to Starbucks...
