How do you 'steal' a deal?

I'm sure the person who posted it on SD most likely learned of it from another source, so would you say then that the SD poster 'stole' it from that other source?

I didn't know the poster on SD or other sites 'owned' the deal

Those reviews are for a different model...the 22" which has a higher contrast ratio and quicker response time.

Response time is actually 5ms, and other monitors from this PEARL series are TN, so ... TN panel!

You are correct. The data sheet from soyo says that response time is 5 ms. I will update the OP.
