"Heavy Duty" batteries are the precursors to alkaline batteries.

They suck in comparison. Alkaline batteries have 2-3 times the life of "heavy duty" batteries.

These would be best in that old flashlight in the drawer that will only get used for 10 minutes a year.

Can anyone confirm Zinc or Alkaline?

Heavy Duty batteries might mean these are Zinc-Carbon and not Alkaline.

Good for extremely low drain non priority devices, such as wall clocks.

these battery suck. i bought them and it lasted like 3 days on my remote. and it leak some kind of fluid. waste of money.
