These use socket 1366 so you need new motherboard, new cooler (bigger physical size), they like 3 dimms. So you basically could use your case, hd , and dvd.

I can read. Just trying to alert those blinded by the shining new silicon plaything that $300 is just the starting cost for this new toy. A true FW would be looking for a MB+CPU combo deal.

Don't forget the memory; triple channel DDR3 is not cheap either (not many have them lying around from their older systems).
