This most likely will not work on tmobile 3g, as it uses a different set of frequencies than everyone else. It would get edge on tmobile only. Would most likely work great for international travel.

What joelfreak said.

T-Mobile's 3G (besides not being all that widely deployed) is on a 1700MHz frequency, while AT&T's is 1900MHz. There are mobile broadband networks in UK/EU (at least) at the 2100MHz frequency.

So all you'd get with this and a T-Mobile SIM is EDGE lovin' ... which is a bit better than nothing at least.

Thanks. If it works with At&t and T-Mobile it will also work with any SIM card. Unlocked means unlocked for all to use..

Just a word of warning if you buy one of these Sierra modems: That USB connector that adjusts for "convenient positioning" is VERY fragile and breaks easily. You'll then need to ship the modem to Sierra in Canada to be repaired for around $40.00.

I had one that NEVER had been connected directly to a USB port (went through a docking cradle) and one day it stopped working. Sent it in for warranty repair and got a bill instead.

would any one know if this would be faster than "internet sharing" through a T-Mobile WING connected through a miniusb/usb cable?

OR

Does this require a separate isp sim card?
