i have found uniden phones to be some of the best in the industry, even though they are also some of the least expensive. have had fantastic luck with everyone i have owned, as well as those i have bought for family and friends. |

I am thinking about some like new 5.8ghz accessory handsets from them for $19.99 each. Haven't seen any good deals on new Uniden accessory handsets lately. |

Thanks OP! I got a 5.8ghz handset phone for $9.99 to replace a GE cordless 2.4ghz phone I have now. It has a wierd tick tick noise if I talk to far away from the receiver, so I'm hoping this will solve that. I had a uniden back in the day and it was an indestructible beast and I could get insane range on it. I can't wait to try this out with my MagicJack setup. |

I bot a purple uniden 2.4G cordless quite a few years ago for ~$20. Noisy phone. The handset was really warm when charging. The LCD display started missing some strokes a couple of months later, and only a few dots left when I got rid of the junk, about 1 year after the purchase. I did call their customer service for possible repair and yes the shipping fee on me was about the price of the phone. No more uniden. |
