I had an issue a while back with some off-the-wall rebate company denying my rebate, and they wouldn't respond to my e-mails, so I called Newegg and they refunded the rebate amount back to my CC. It was only for $10, but they helped me out with no hassle. |

Yep free shipping is gone and when I enter code the code I get "Although you've entered a valid promo code HARDOCP112410P, your order does not currently meet the code's usage criteria." I don't really need either items so I will wait. For those who care the USB tuner does appear to work with GB-PVR which is good because folks did not like the software that came witht the tuner. |

At think at the end of the day you would get your money back from the Egg but from what I have seen they do make you jump through a few more hoops than in the past. I am guessing for your $10 rebate it was cheaper to refund you than assist you or redirect you to the manufacturer for $30 they may be less felixble. |
