Fry's has the Netgear SPH200W WIFI Skype phone on sale for $99.99 in-store or on there website with free shipping. This phone allows you to use Skype without a pc at any wifi hotspot. seems like a pretty good deal to me.

Good price but not a good phone. The desktop charge won't change in most of the time. Battery live short, only good for 2 days with no call. The other version 200D with Direct 6 base is working much better. I have both of them and I paid $99 for 200W 6 months ago from Fry's. I use the 200D most of my time.

Is the -W not the same phone with the addition of a base station? I guess not else it would have the mike problem too. Can it be used on any wifi connection or does it need its own base station? (At $300 I'm not sure I care...)

Its getting kinda hard to find any of the base station models anymore, the 200D and the Phillips 841 are both a rarity at any decent prices.
