I just bought a Ridata 16GB lightning series card for $27.99 and thought that was a great deal! This is even better! I wonder how cheap these prices can get? $15 for a 16GB card? I'll load up big time then, or if 32GB cards come down in price I'll load up with those. |
in a nutshell - marketing and technology hold-back. Like everything else that progresses technologically, they are always one to 10 steps ahead. however, they need to keep the market current and sell what they've been working on, so they can't just release the 128GB flash drives that are easily made. they need to make you think 32 is all that's out there (think about the past with the faster and faster CD-ROM/DVD burners). It also has to do with the way things are mass produced, and the technology to mass produce them (and cooling newer and faster computer hardware), but this does not necessarily apply here. Remember, just because you don't see them on the shelf doesn't mean it's non-existent. Cz |

When I got the 8gb, the 4gb ones are as good as trash... |
I just bought one, thank you for the post. I think it is a good idea to have a second card for incase your primary goes bad. It has happened to me before. |
I'm stockpiling cards for a trip to Vietnam with the Canon HF100 HD camcorder. I want to be able to shoot tons of footage! |
doesnt have good reviews... pass - thanks for the deal anyway... |
I have bought five of these - 4 are the "eee" special versions from A-data and one is a standard A-data (as is being offered here). They all work flawlessly in my Canon HF100s and my Kodaks (V1073 and Z1012). I bought two of these last week for $27 |
I have 4 of these A-Data 16gb turbo class 6 SDHC and one of them died while recording in my Canon HF100 on Christmas day. |
