Since the in-store price (ad print's price) is cheaper than the online price, you should try to get a price match to only pay $390.

Good luck!

good luck is right, good luck finding any now. Most stores only had about 5 and they are long gone. Sorry Pyee!

I didn't have a problem finding it. It's ymmv. Uninstall vista and install xp. It runs smooth with dual core and 2 gigs of memory.

Funny, because there was a thread about this yesterday but I noticed it was gone as of last night.

Did these ever show up as in-stock online? Or was it one of those - you have to show up at the store to find 'em (despite online stating insufficient stock)?

You can pick a store, select pickup and add it to an order.

Which doesnt appear to check stock. I ordered one from the local store and they called two hours later to say they didnt have any.

But they told me that another store about 10 mi away had six in stock, and they did. Now they have five!

So ask your local store to check inventory of the other area stores, might still have a few hanging around.

Nice little machine. My 4 year old is playing PBS games on it right now.

Manual that came with it said 4400mah battery rather than 2200, i'll have to flip it over and check the battery when he's done playing with it, which might be a while...

Seems to have everything. Screen looks good and keyboard has a good clicky feel to it.

I just picked one of these up in store (timed the truck nicely I guess) but the people working there were confused about the printer and laptop sleeve. How do I get them? Did I have to order online or something? I know they are probably not worth that much but my parents would like the printer at least.

Any help is appreciated. Thanks OP!

You needed to buy the case and printer at the same time as the laptop, then send in rebate forms to get the money back, as far as I know. I didnt need either and didnt feel like fiddling with rebates, so I didnt bother.

The battery in mine is a 4500mah Panasonic. So battery is much better than reported and the battery life should be very good.

I went with my friend to get this today, and the sleeve is free on the spot (listed as promotional discount). My friend opted for the wireless HP printer for $20 more (after the $70 rebate).

That's a pretty hot deal in itself.

I'm playing around with the one my coworker bought. It has a Sanyo 4400mAh battery. Lite-On the brand on the AC power pack. Its good for the price and I was tempted to buy one for myself. They had 3 before we left with 1 today. But I'm looking to get something with a better screen, maybe LED backlight.

I went to the OD in Alhambra, CA on Valley Blvd. and they had 4 left after I bought mine. and in regards to the free FORAY laptop sleeve, when I went to the register, the cashier automatically asked me which laptop sleeve I wanted (she had them on the floor behind her). When I checked my receipt after I left, I noticed I was charged $0.01 for it, but right underneath the charge was a $0.01 promo discount. I did not have to bundle my purchase with a printer or anything.

So far this laptop is really nice. I like the way the keys feel. The touch pad could stand to be a little more sensitive. It appears that the battery life is about 2.5 hours only when set to "balanced" and using wireless internet.

Just a quick question.. I bought one from WalMart.. model # A0A-150-1777.. says 120G on the box but when I look at the bios and the model of the drive.. its a 160g and had about 147G free when I booted it up when I got it...
Whats the deal??

Mine only has a 3 cell battery and I thought all the 160G units have 6 Cell? was this a miss config or did I get somewhat of a deal? I only paid $348+tax
