No on Dell 4700 - it uses DDR2, not DDR.

still trying to find out if this will work on my Abit is7 board.

is there a different between this model and CT2KIT12864Z40B? I check what memory I could use on my is7 and CT2KIT12864Z40B comes up but not CT2CP12864Z40B (Frys)
