Apple has the iPod Touch 2nd Generation for $21 off today only for Black Friday. That brings the price to $278 or if stacked with EPP (schools, employee discount, etc.) it goes to $260-ish. Apple charges for sales tax to most states, so for some of us the price would be in the $270-285, minus 1% FatCash = about $267-282. Amazon has it for $270 with free shipping and no tax (except for Kansas, Kentucky, New York, North Dakota, or Washington). This combined with the new Amazon Credit Card (see previous posting if you don't have one and you could get an additional $50 off) and the initial promotion of 6% Cash Back (yes, cash, not Amazon gift check anymore) brings the total to $253.80. Linky and select Amazon on the right as somehow it shows J&R instead. The same is possible for 8GB and 32GB versions, makes sure to buy directly from Amazon but do your math first. |
