AMSLSCB = after Microsoft LiveSearch CashBack.

This is a different 19" non-widescreen monitor deal than I posted earlier in this now-expired deal. That monitor had no DVI connectivity, and also had a lower contrast rating (700:1, vs. 1000:1 for the deal at hand). Otherwise they both offer 1280 x 1024 resolution (5:4 aspect ratio), and have built-in speakers.

This deal relies on getting 15% Microsoft LiveSearch c@shback. To activate that:

1. Sign in at LiveSearch (www.live.com)
2. Search for "TigerDirect"
3. In the search results, look for the item that says "TigerDirect Official Site---get 15% c@shback on computers"---click on that.
4. Find item at TD, purchase as usual
5. If you've done everything correctly, you will get an email confirmation from MS Live later, confirming the impending C@shback rebate. Yesterday I ordered a video card this way, had the confirmation within 5 minutes. YMMV.

Note: if you can find some cheap filler item to get your total over $100, the shipping drops to $1.99. Otherwise you're on the hook for ~$14 shipping costs. Please post your cheap filler suggestions below!

Math: $99.99 plus cheap filler + $1.99 shipping - ~$15 LiveSearch CashBack = $85 + filler cost + $1.99 shipping

I wonder if there is an option for in store pickup? (I've got one about 20 minutes away) Otherwise, I'd have shipping, plus tax to contend with.

Haven't had a chance to look into this further, but sounds like a great deal on the surface.

Cheap monitors are not good. I bought a V7 22" LCD Monitor from Staples, and the colors were horrible. So I returned the monitor and got a Samsung (for a little more). Best colors ever.
