Shipping kills the deal.

Shipping cost $18.95 for me (VA).

I bought this combo last year at frys B&M for about $20. It's not worth it. Junky power supply, keyboard and mouse are archaic and the case itself is everything I've learned to hate about cheap cases! Free with shipping yes, but with the shipping it's not hot.

"Raidmax will not inform customers if their submissions are not complete or invalid."

This is the first time I've noticed they will not notify you if your submission is invalid, even when they ask for your e-mail on the form. Sounds like a lot of headache if things go wrong. Thanks for the post anyways OP.

Argh... The rebate goes to 'The City of Lost Rebates' AKA Industry. Expect to make phone calls, emails, etc.

What does this mean?

"Rebates will not be recognized after 6 months of the purchase date."

Sounds as if they can delay processing your request for 6 months, then they can deny your request. No recourse? Makes Soyo rebates look good IMHO.(At least I did get my Soyo rebate after 5 resubmissions and 14 months)

City of Industry, eh?

Make it easier on yourself. Just send the money you're going to lose to me. At last you'll get a Thank You, which is better than all the aggravation you'll experience with the alleged rebate.

That's because their mail drop is a dumpster.

$24+ shipping and tax for me; will skip it.

Please do NOT factor in the rebate amount into this deal as you will NEVER get the rebate. Consider yourself warned!! I've had only ONE bad rebate (I buy alot w/ rebates) the past year and this was it.

Yeah COI rebates never come, without a fight, and even then, may not (probably won't) come. The egg usually stands behind rebates but lately they've been getting tougher on that too, so I'd also say skip this.
