This is a fantastic phone system. I accidently ran into this deal while visiting Fry's in Atlanta and managed to get the last one! I connected it to my Vonage adapter and now I have cordless service in 4 rooms across the house. All phones have speakers which is very nice to share calls with anyone in your household or when using for telecon. Very clear sound. Has address book and caller-id on all phones. The caller names (from caller id) are also announced automatically!!! So you know if to pick that call or not. The base also has a separate dialling unit so essentially I have 5 phones (including the base unit with speaker phone). Can't go wrong with Panasonic quality at this price! |

Great phone. Got lucky and found one sitting on top of the candy while waiting in line at the Burbank Fry's. It is essentially the same as the one being sold at Costco for $130. The costco version comes with one extra handset (white) but otherwise they are the same. Only two things I don't like is 1. every handset must be individually set to auto answer (pick up phone to answer a call w/o pressing TALK). 2. Answering machine is OK, but not great. Voice quality is a little garbled and I often have to replay messages to understand them. But it's better than the last Panasonic phone I had which stupidly placed the answering machine speaker behind the handset on the main base station. |

Frys had this on BF for $49 w/free shipping. I ordered it and got an email that it was sold out! So the fact that you could order it one day later means that Frys was lying! |
