Hard to pay $20 for one CF card, when everyone was and is still getting three for the same price after rebate at Adorama and B&H. Fry's cards are only 20MB/s, whereas the Sandisk cards are 30mb/s/

SANDISK DEAL

SANDISK DEAL

Only if you participate in Rebates,..myself I think they should be outlawed or at least the company's offering them held accountable.

I'll give this green and thanks just because the rebates seemed too shady -- WAY too much rebate cash tied up -- on the alternative deal.

I can understand a rebate that is maybe 20% of the reasonable price of the product but having huge rebates off of a nominally 'free after rebate' product is more like a pyramid scheme where a lot of people get intentionally screwed by the rebate processing scam to fund the profit for a few in the whole scheme. If there was better consumer recourse against fraudulent / slow paying / non-paying rebate systems then I'd certainly agree that the 'free' deal was much better. As it is, I'd say be prepared to waste a few hours fighting against a fraudulently denied / delayed / 'lost' rebate on that other deal if you ever expect to see the cash. My time / stress is worth more than that.
