Having posted the "15% PayPal Cash Back Offer for Overstock.com Purchases of $100 or more" thread I decided to search for an item or two that might be worth using PayPal as a purchase avenue. I was going to put this in that thread but thought it might get overlooked.

Did a search for Nintendo Wii and arrived at this Linky
Looking at the details this appears to be new and not a refurb as one of their Wii kits are.
Further Product Details
System includes:
· Wii console · Wii Sports game · sensor bar · AV cable
· stand · Wii Remote · Nunchuk controller

When you check out make sure to use PayPal and when you are asked to log in to your account you should see the following at the top of the Review your Payment screen:
"Promotional Offer: This transaction is eligible for 15 % Cash Back on purchases of 100 USD or more."

Don't forget to try FatWallet CashBack of 4% or LS CashBack of 2-7%

Good deal for those who did not have 10% eBay coupon and 30% live CashBack. I just bought one today which will eventually cost me $187 (provided i get $96 Cash Back from live)..

With this, there is no waiting game.

I bought the Wii as a gift for my brother. They are out of stock everywhere even though they have been around for a while now. Their new commercials and marketing campaign are to thank. Even I want to play now!

A great deal in my opinion with the free shipping, no sales tax, and instant %15 back from paypal. Glad I was up surfing FW - I'm sure this is going to go fast with this promotion.

yeah, I don't know what to do. I have $200 in gift cards from best buy and $150 at Amazon so I'd hate to pay cash! it's for myself, so I can wait till Jan. Great deal though!!

Oh and my order shipped for free today only, so no $2.95 for shipping. I also threw in one of the 3" high loft memory foam matress toppers that was out of stock in queen on black friday for an additional 15% Cash Back on that. Better than black friday deal when it would have only been 10% off!

There are no deals at Amazon for the wii console at ALL. I just looked and they were over $300. I say, buy the wii console from overstock, and put your giftcards to good use to buy games and accessories at BB and Amazon. I bought mine as a gift but imagine his disappointment if he only has the Wii sports that it comes with to play all day. I'll be in for at least an extra control (hey - I'm not going to be sitting idly by I plan on getting into the action!) and at least one game. Had a friend go to BB in Tempe, AZ just because they had them in stock - no deal to be had like this!

FYI the 15% CashBack to paypal is not instant. You'll get it by Jan 31 2009.

*Free shipping does not apply to orders of only books, music, movies, & games.

So if you order something else you need from Overstock like a foam topper or if you can find a cheap item which is not one of the listed types, then you can get free shipping.

it didn't show up on the order confirmation - I screen printed (PDF) the screens thru checkout and I guess we get the CashBack sometime in Jan.
