I hate HP, but I love the features on this laptop! And the price is pretty sweet (green for you by the way), but I believe it can be further sweetened by stacking with MS Live CashBack, or will that be denied/voided with coupon use?

It works !
However, I needed the HDX 16t ... this doesnt work for 16t ... any coupon for it ?

I wanted to pick one of these up on the black friday 40% live.com clickthrough, but since HP and Microsoft couldn't get their act together I spent all day being unable to click through properly, thus didn't spend money at HP.com.

I'm certainly not going to go buy it now and pay about $500 more than I would have if their black friday promo would not have been such a fiasco...

Unfortunately, I haven't found a different laptop quite like this one.. so eventually I may have to give in, but for now I am boycotting HP.com until they decide to give me 40% Cash Back like they promised.....

<end of rant against HP/Microsoft>

Definitely will be denied....lost $365 in CB trying the exact same thing last week.

Oh nevermind... I see live cb is now only 5% for HP (FatCash is 7%)... =-(

Alright, where oh WHERE do you enter the NB9485 promo code? I dont see anywhere to enter it.

When using this coupon code, HP cancels the original discount ($1800 - 200 = $1600) and then applies the new coupon to reflect a $400 discount, so that the price is then $1400. Applying the coupon returns the following language:

"We have compared the coupon submitted to the available instant savings and applied the best offer. Promotion rules allow only the coupon or instant savings to be applied to any item."

FW cash on this new deal equals approximately $100, so your final cost is $1300 plus tax (shipping and handling is free). Still a pretty good deal but I'm left wondering if you can get it cheaper elsewhere.

Forget my last post...I must have chosen the wrong model. I tried again and got the $1200.

I assume this deal is dead correct? Is there another good deal for this notebook? I need to buy one soon...

Whom do you like then, Dell??? I still havent received the laptop that I ordered from Dell in October and now they screwed up a second order... Funny to me that at a time when all companies are hurting these guys have such totally crappy customer service... I have bought a laptop from all the majors, multiples from some, this year and I have to tell you that Dell is by far the worse and HP did decent job. I have a Dell, Thinkpad and HP and I like all of them but my favorite is the 17" HP $699 laptop. For the cost nothing has come close for my work. At that cost I can buy one a year and be ahead of the game price wise. Sorry but Dell is a joke to buy from and especially to deal with now so I sure cant recommend them.
